The inspiration for this site came after seeing Deathproof. The skull and crossbow painted on the hood of Kurt Russell’s Nova was, as said on the sidebar, “Badass!” Now, I erroneously labeled that car as the ’69 Dodge Charger R/T and was corrected by Bakanekro in the comments section. He’s right. And I’m going to leave my FUBAR (hint for another Kurt Russel movie) for all to see because that’s how I want this site to be. A conversation on cars we see on films, whether the big screen or the small screen.

It’s a personal blog, run solo by me, CoolCarsRen. I’m willing to accept any help in the form of article submission so long as the topic centers around cars in movies, TV, and, even, music videos. The car should play some reasonable role in the movie and not merely for backdrop. As an example, I posted about Janis Joplin’s Porsche from Across the Universe even though it appeared only in that one scene. But it’s a nod to Janis Joplin and the movie was a set around her heydays. It’s an easter egg.

Another type of help I could use is suggestions on which car and movie combination.  Those can be posted below.

And lastly, spam. I hate dealing with spam comments. So for now, until I find a better solution, comments are moderated and spam reported.
